Pupils at Agora International School Andorra who are considering a career in sport can combine their academic studies with their sports training as part of our high-performance sports programmes. We run technical programmes in Skiing and Football, with specially adapted timetables for each participating student, allowing them to prepare for a future in sport without neglecting their academic work. Each case is individually assessed and pupils work under the guidance of an individual tutor with additional academic support available, depending on the needs of each student.
Students who opt to follow our elite football programme train 3 or 5 days a week from 9 to 11, with additional sessions after school. They are given all the technical support, guidance and physical training that they need to prepare themselves for life as a professional athlete. Agora International School Andorra is able to offer this high-performance soccer programme due to an agreement held between the school and the Andorran Football Federation (FAF).
Our high-performance ski programme is open to boys and girls aged from 12 and 16 years old, and provides technical support and ski-training to pupils who are passionate about their sport. Students ski three times a week from 9:00 to 12:00 hours and then re-join their normal classes. Academic revision sessions are available in the afternoons and teachers are always on hand to answer questions. Students in the high-performance ski programme usually reside at Agora International School Andorra’s boarding facility for one or two terms, or for a full academic year.Find out more about our Ski School
